Welcome to the artistic realm of Fernando Diaz de Leon Rendon, a talented multidisciplinary artist and educator at Haliburton School of Art and Design, Fleming College. Specializing in the fine art of repoussé, metal embossing, Fernando works with various metals, including pewter, copper, aluminum, and brass, to create stunning reliefs. His commitment to sustainability shines through as he repurposes materials and incorporates mixed media crafting, creating unique masterpieces inspired by the beauty of nature. Part of his objective is to send a message and create awareness to promote sustainable art: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Most of the materials he uses are recycled, purchased for reuse, found in the most random places and received through donations. Each piece is individually crafted and designed to be a unique work of art.
